Can I test the fonts before buying?

Of course, you can. There are trial versions of each typeface available ↗ here.

I am a student. Can I get a discount?

If you are working on a student project and want to work with our typefaces, you can use the provided trial versions and show your results on your website, Instagram, etc. as long as the student project remains non-commercial.

What about updates to the font?

If you bought a licence, you will always be able to download the latest version of the font free of charge with the download link provided after your purchase, so keep it safe.

Where can I see some in-use examples of the typefaces?

There is a website called ↗ Fonts in Use where you will find a selection of projects that use our fonts.

Which characters are included?

The provided fonts usually cover at least the most broadly used Latin-based languages (comparable to the range of letters defined in ↗ OpenType Std) as well as figures, punctuation, arrows, currency symbols, and various other glyphs. The actual character set might differ from font to font, though, so we encourage you to check each font’s character set in their specimen.

What if I want to change a small detail in the font files?

Unfortunately, you are not allowed to change the font files on your own. If you need customised font files, you can write us an ↗ email to discuss the commission of a bespoke typeface.

What about refunds if I do not like the purchased typeface?

Due to the nature of font licence purchases, we generally do not offer refunds. If you are not satisfied, feel free to write us an ↗ email explaining your situation. We appreciate your feedback and will carefully review your case to consider a possible exception to our policy.

Standard and Extended Licences

All licences are issued as standard or extended licences. If not explicitly stated otherwise, the licence at hand is a standard licence (such as all licences offered on this website) which does not allow font use for private for-profit entities with more than 250 employees. If you want to use the fonts for such entities, you need an extended licence, which you can ↗ request via email.

Desktop Licence

The Desktop licence allows font files to be installed on a specified number of per­sonal computers (PCs) owned by the licence holder to create documents, static images, print files, non-trademarked logos, non-broadcast videos, and such.

Web Licence

The Web licence allows font files to be embedded via @font-face technology or similar into a single website owned by the licence holder for a specified number of monthly page views (MPV).

Trial Licence

The Trial licence is in effect when you use any of the trial fonts. This licence allows font files to be used for testing purposes only. It is strictly forbidden to use the provided font files in any kind of final and/or published project, may it be commercial or non-commercial. The only exception is students, who are allowed to use the fonts for student projects and may publish those as long as these student projects remain non-commercial. If possible, the name of the typeface used as well as the studio Nguyen Gobber has to be credited appropriately.

Other Kinds of Licensing

To use the fonts in an area or scope not covered by one of the licences described here, please ↗ contact us for further licensing options. This might be relevant if you intend to use our typefaces for apps, e-books, games, broadcasting (television, cinema, subscriptional or transactional video on demand, live streaming, and similar), contractors (extending licences to external parties), trademark registration, unlimited and/or exclusive use.

Payment options include Mastercard, Visa, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Payments via bank transfer or PayPal are possible ↗ on request.
